The Call Log Module is designed to record and manage information about all incoming and outgoing phone calls in one centralized location. This feature is accessible under the Reception Module.
Getting Started
To begin using the Call Log Module:
- Navigate to Reception Configuration.
- Define the Calling Purpose to categorize the nature of calls, such as inquiries, follow-ups, or support.
Once this configuration is complete, you can start recording call logs.
Permissions
The module includes four permissions to control access and actions:
- List Call Log: Allows users to view all call log records.
- Create Call Log: Grants the ability to add new call logs.
- Edit Call Log: Enables modification of existing call log entries.
- Delete Call Log: Permits deletion of call log records.
Call Log Features
When working with the Call Log Module, the following options are available:
- Add New Call Log: Opens a form to record details about a phone call.
- Filter: Filters records based on call type, calling purpose, and date range.
- Sort By: Sorts the records in ascending or descending order by supported fields, such as start time or caller name.
- More Options: Provides the ability to print or download the list of call logs.
Navigation and Pagination
- Navigation Controls: Move between pages to view more records.
- Pagination Settings: Adjust the number of records displayed per page.
Each call log entry includes options to:
- Edit the record.
- Delete the record.
Creating a Call Log
To create a new call log:
- Click on Add New Call Log.
- Enter the required details, including:
- Calling Purpose
- Call Details
- Caller Name
- Start Time and End Time
- Call Duration
- Description
- Entry By
- Once all details are filled out, click the Save button to store the record.
