The Event Module allows you to create and manage events, define the target audience, and make these events visible on your audience’s calendar.
This feature can be accessed through Calendar Configuration.
Permissions
This module contains four permissions:
- List Event: Anyone with this permission can list all events.
- Create Event: Anyone with this permission can create an event.
- Edit Event: Anyone with this permission can edit an event.
- Delete Event: Anyone with this permission can delete an event.
Module Features
To begin working with the Event Module, follow these steps:
Event Type Configuration: Navigate to Configuration -> Module Configuration -> Calendar Configuration -> Event Type. Here, you can manage the different types of events in your institution and generate reports based on these event types.
Event Details: You can create new events with specific details such as audience, date, and description. Once you complete all the details, you can save the event to store it.
Options Available
In the top right, the following options are available:
- Add New Event: Opens a form to add a new event.
- Filter: Allows you to filter events by available options.
- Sort By: Allows you to sort the events in ascending or descending order by supported columns.
- More Options: Allows you to take a printout or download the list of events.
Pagination
- In the bottom right, you can set pagination to adjust the number of records per page.
