Timetable

The Timetable Module is designed to manage and store class-wise records, including assigned subject teachers and their respective subjects. Typically, timetables for each class cycle every week. 

This module can be accessed under the Academic Module.

Permissions

The module includes four permissions to manage access and actions:

  • List Timetable: Allows users to view all timetable records.
  • Create Timetable: Grants the ability to add new timetable records.
  • Edit Timetable: Enables modification of existing timetable entries.
  • Delete Timetable: Permits deletion of timetable records.

Timetable Features

Each timetable record stores the following details:

  • Batch
  • Effective Date
  • Description
  • Created At
  • Last Updated At

The following options are available when using the module:

  1. Add New Timetable: Opens a form to input timetable details.
  2. Filter: Filters records based on batch and effective date, with the ability to print the filtered details.
  3. Sort By: Sorts records in ascending or descending order by supported fields.
  4. More Options: Allows users to print the timetables or download them as a list or PDF.

Navigation and Pagination

  • Navigation Controls: Move between pages to view additional records.
  • Pagination Settings: Adjust the number of records displayed per page.

Each timetable entry includes options to:

  • Allocate subjects to their respective sessions.
  • Edit the timetable record.
  • Delete the timetable record.

Creating a Timetable

To create a new timetable:

  1. Click on Add New Timetable.
  2. Enter the required details, including:
    • Batch
    • Effective Date
    • Description
  3. Once all details are entered, click the Save button to store the timetable.
