The Roll Number Module allows you to assign roll numbers to students within a batch at an institute (school, college, university). This feature provides flexibility, allowing roll numbers to be assigned either manually or automatically based on the alphabetical order of the students' names.

Permission

This module contains only one permission:

• Edit Roll Number: Anyone with this permission can edit the roll number of students within a batch.

To assign or change permissions, visit the Configuration page.

Features of the Roll Number Module

Below is a screenshot of the roll number module, which displays the roll numbers assigned to each student in a batch. You can manually assign roll numbers by entering numeric values for each student or use the Auto Roll Number Assign function to generate roll numbers automatically based on the alphabetical order of students' names.

Once the roll numbers are assigned, click the Save button to store the information.
