Students

The Student List Module is used to maintain all class-wise records of every student in the institute. It lists all the students selected through the registration process for a specific batch. 

This module allows you to filter and view student details based on various criteria, such as Student Group, Batch, Name, and Date of Admission.

Permission

This module contains one permission:

  • List Student List: Anyone with this permission can list all student records.

To assign or change permissions, visit the Configuration page.

Features of the Student List Module

Below is a screenshot of the student list module, which displays the following information:

  • Admission Number (Adm No)
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Father's Name
  • Date of Admission
  • Contact Number
  • Course
  • Batch

In the top-right, there are options to:

  • Add New Student: This will navigate to the student registration form, where you can add new student details and assign them to a batch.
  • Filter: Allows you to filter by First Name, Last Name, Father's Name, Date of Admission, Contact Number, Course, Batch, Student Group, etc.
  • Column: Select specific columns to display in the student list.
  • Sort By: Sort records in ascending or descending order by supported columns.
  • More Options: Print or download the student list in PDF or Excel format.

In the bottom-left, you can navigate between pages, and in the bottom-right, you can adjust pagination settings (number of records per page).

Each row provides options to allocate students to specific subjects and sessions. The student list for each batch can also be edited and downloaded as PDF.

Important Notes

  • No Deletion: There is no option to delete student records once added to the system. This is intentional to preserve relational data and prevent errors. Deleting a student record may affect linked data. The system behaves like a permanent register where data cannot be erased.
  • Terminating Students: To terminate a student, navigate to the Termination section and input the termination date. Once terminated, the student will no longer be able to log in.
