Registration

The Registration module simplifies the process of registering students into the system. It allows for both new and existing students to be registered with ease. 

To access this feature, navigate to the left panel of the dashboard under Student > Registration.

Permission

This module contains four permissions:

  • List Registration: Allows users to list all registrations.
  • Create Registration: Allows users to create new registrations.
  • Edit Registration: Allows users to edit registration details.
  • Delete Registration: Allows users to delete pending registrations.

Note: Only pending registrations can be deleted.

Getting Started with Registration

To assign or change permissions, visit the Configuration page.

You will see a list of all student registrations that can be searched, sorted, and filtered by respective buttons. The records can be viewed in different pagination settings, ranging from 10 to 100 students per page. Additionally, you can print or generate a PDF of the registration list.

In the top-right, there are options to:

  • Add New Registration: Opens a form to add new registration details.
  • Filter: Filters registrations by type and date.
  • Sort By: Sorts records in ascending or descending order by supported columns.
  • More Options: Allows printing or downloading the list of registered students.

In the bottom-left, you can navigate between pages, and in the bottom-right, you can adjust pagination settings.

Each row has options to view, edit, or delete pending registrations.

New Registration Process

To register a new student, click Add New Registration, which provides two options:

  1. New Student
  2. Existing Student

For New Student registration, fill in the following details:

  • Date of Registration
  • Course
  • Name
  • Gender
  • Date of Birth
  • Contact Number
  • Parent/Guardian Details
  • Previous Institute
  • Remarks

After completing the form, click Save to add the registration.

For Existing Students, search for their details and add them to the new admission.

Once saved, the registration status will be marked as Pending and will be approved after the registration fee is received. The administrator can approve pending registrations by clicking View Details in the Action column, where they can finalize the registration process.

Once all details are filled, click Save to complete the registration process.
