The Promotion Module is used to promote a batch or class from the current academic session to the next. This feature is accessible under the Student Module.

Permissions

This module contains only one permission:

• Promote Student: Anyone with this permission can promote a student to the next academic session.

Process Overview

1. Create New Academic Session: Before promoting students, you must create a new academic session, specifying the start and end dates.
2. Import Data: After the session is created, you can import baseline data from the selected academic and finance modules of the current session.

Promotion Process

• The module allows you to filter and view the details of students or batches awaiting promotion.
• After selecting the students to promote, ensure you assign the relevant fees for the respective batch before completing the promotion.
