The Gate Pass Module is designed to maintain records of gate passes for students or employees who need to leave the premises of the organization. This feature is accessible under the Reception Module.
Getting Started
To begin using the Gate Pass Module:
- Navigate to Reception Configuration.
- Define the necessary settings, such as gate pass types or categories.
Once the setup is complete, you can start recording gate passes.
Permissions
The module includes four permissions to manage access and actions:
- List Gate Pass: Allows users to view all gate pass records.
- Create Gate Pass: Grants the ability to add new gate passes.
- Edit Gate Pass: Enables modification of existing gate pass entries.
- Delete Gate Pass: Permits deletion of gate pass records.
Gate Pass Features
Each gate pass record stores the following details:
- Gate Pass Number
- Details
- Date and Time
- Reason for Leaving
- Entry By
When using the Gate Pass Module, the following options are available:
- Add New Gate Pass: Opens a form to input gate pass details.
- Filter: Filters records by gate pass type and date range.
- Sort By: Sorts records in ascending or descending order by supported fields.
- More Options: Provides functionality to print or download the list of gate passes.
Navigation and Pagination
- Navigation Controls: Move between pages to view additional records.
- Pagination Settings: Adjust the number of records displayed per page.
Each gate pass entry includes options to:
- Print the gate pass.
- Edit the record.
- Delete the record.
Creating a Gate Pass
To create a new gate pass:
- Click on Add New Gate Pass.
- Enter the required details, including:
- Gate Pass Number
- Reason for Leaving
- Date and Time of Departure
- Once all details are entered, click the Save button to store the gate pass.
